CEAV, the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies, has announced this week its collaboration with the consultancy firm BRAINTRUST, specialised in the tourism sector among other industries, which will be its partner for market analysis and research activities.
Carlos Garrido, President of CEAV, considers this partnership as the best decision, given BRAINTRUST's specialisation and experience in the knowledge of the Spanish traveller, its advanced analysis methodologies and the business vision they have in their projects. For Ángel García Butragueño, Director of Tourism and Leisure at BRAINTRUST, this was a logical step in our partnership strategy, given the extensive experience we have in the tourism industry, to which we have dedicated a large part of our careers, with a solid and qualified team that helps tourism companies, in this case travel agencies, to move through the current times to come out better prepared and stronger, to transform and prepare themselves in times where travel agencies will be increasingly necessary.
As a start to this collaboration, CEAV has commissioned BRAINTRUST to carry out an analysis of what the new post-COVID traveller will be like, who will be the first travellers when the health situation improves, what types of travel will be required, which channels will be the most used and where travel agencies are positioned in the consumer's mind, and what they will look for in travel agents and how they must prepare for a new era where technology will be key but the agent's experience and knowledge will be fundamental in this new era.
After this first contact between BRAINTRUST and CEAV, other collaborations will follow where different topics in the tourism sector will be analysed and developed to help companies in the sector to direct their strategies and take advantage of business opportunities, thus making the most of the experience and potential of both firms.
