Madrid, September 2025 – Andersen Consulting strengthens its Human Capital Advisory Services practice with the addition of Francisco Puertas, a well-known talent management expert with extensive experience in organizational transformation at large companies in Spain.
With more than 25 years of experience in the sector, he takes on the leadership of this area with a clear vision: to turn the role of people into a strategic lever for growth, combining technology with the human side of organizations to promote productivity, attract and retain talent, and ensure the well-being of employees, who are the true drivers of organizational change and competitiveness.

A TRACK RECORD OF LEADERSHIP AND INNOVATIVE VISION
Francisco Puertas spent much of his career as a partner at Accenture Strategy, leading large-scale projects in Spain and Portugal for two decades. At the helm of the Talent and Organization practice, he drove transformation and change strategies for leading companies in sectors such as consumer goods, retail, professional services, utilities, banking, telecommunications, insurance, and sports.
Alongside this solid track record in the world of consulting, throughout his professional career Francisco has held positions of responsibility in various countries and sectors, including Country Manager of the Development Systems business in Portugal, President of Hastee Spain & Portugal, leading its expansion and integration into the multinational Zellis, and President of the AD Mérida football club, which he completely professionalized after its acquisition.
At the same time, he has maintained a firm commitment to knowledge generation as a lecturer in human capital and people analytics at various universities and specialized forums, contributing to the dissemination of new methodologies in talent management and organizational transformation.
